water with 2 or 3 drops of dish soap.
I don’t soak the slats, and I never mix dish soap into the fabric softener solution unless I’m making a separate batch. A little soap goes a long way. After spot-cleaning, I wipe once more with a clean damp microfiber cloth and then buff dry with a second cloth so there’s no residue left behind.
- Why microfiber matters more than paper towels
I’ve tried shortcuts with paper towels, old T-shirts, and even dryer sheets on their own. Microfiber wins every time.
